About the Maker
Gerald Felix began making Windsor chairs in 2001 upon his retirement from a major commercial airline. Prior to that he completed a successful career as an Air Force fighter pilot.
Gerry inherited his grandfather's woodworking tools and skills, and honed them through study with the top three chairmakers in the country. He is very meticulous in his work, which limits his output to only 2 chairs each month.
Gerry and his wife Sandy are long time residents of Williamsburg, Virginia.
Visitors are welcome at the workshop. Call for appointment: (757) 220-0662.
